BIOGRAPHY

Kodama was the second son born in a wealthy family that runs a business firm in Kanagawa. As the second male child in the family, he was given much more leeway and freedom since all the expectation was centered towards his brother, Shoichi. It was already predetermined that the eldest son would take over the company when he grew up. Having more freedom than his brother, he somewhat quietly felt sorry for him, as his brother was much kinder and much more obedient.

He was an average learner, but he worked hard, despite taking longer route of late night studies but it soon became much easier for him. Expectations was high for his brother, and he could tell his brother was falling apart slowly. He lived behind his brother's shadow, as he often received sympathetic or biased treatment and looks, he often felt judged for the being incompetent to his brother who would grow up one day to take over the company as the successor. He was often compared in the eyes of the relatives, something he couldn't help but dislike over the time being. On the surface, the brothers seem to get along well, but as a younger brother, Kodama often felt scrutinized for every decisions he makes, it always led back to comparison and bias.

Whenever he felt down, he often took a train ride to his uncle's house in Yanagawa. The family lived in a large traditional house, and unexpected visits from the child was often expected. It was usually during summer that Kodama would come stay with them but it became more frequent as he grew up. While he was here, he felt safe, he was able to make friends and for the most part, he felt all the stress wash away. With the help of his relatives, he has been granted permission to study in Yanagawa as long he is able to maintain good results and an above average GPA. Living away from his family, he only often gets visit from his younger sister, Suzume from time to time, who is expected to enroll in the same school with Kodama soon.

_{A senior tree student who isn't afraid to voice out what he really thinks, usually its what that comes to mind first in which most of the time could turn out really offensive, even though he doesn't do it on purpose most of the time. So if you expect him to answer truthfully, he will, otherwise he would say the same excuse or words over and over again, like "you look nice". Having a sharp tongue really has its disadvantaged (like making girls cry), so over the years in Maharu High he as really learned to tone down on his crudeness.} 

_{He has a default RBF (resting-beech-face) so it may seem like he is difficult to approach at times but he certainly is quite a laid-back person. He often goes along with things but he will be sure to step out or aside if its something he finds not to his liking, as he is not afraid to say no bluntly. Simple-minded, he either  says yes or no, there is no in between. He is nic...e....ok...he just looks... mea..n... Because of his wealthy background, he doesn't really mind spending money, but he doesn't spend it unnecessarily either.}

_{Along the years, what was something he find difficult to express is slowly starting to change, and as the senior year comes, he started talking a little more about himself, and isn't as reserved as he was back in the early school years, although there are still things he is still unwilling to share yet but it is a lot better now.}

- slouches often bc he is tall, often needs to bend down because the doors are usually below his height.
